Radioactive Waste Policy: Mr Chris Murray, Managing Director and Dr Alan Hooper, Chief Scientific Advisor, Nirex, were examined.

Mr David Bonser, Transformation Director and Mr George Beveridge, Director Nuclear Decommissioning and Clean up (Europe), BNFL, were examined.

Mr Robert Armour, Director of Corporate Affairs and Company Secretary, Mr John Luke, Head of Fuel Cycle and Liabilities, and Mr Tony Free, Liabilities Manager, British Energy, were examined.

Radioactive Waste Policy: Mr Stephen Tindale, Executive Director and Mr Mark Johnston, Campaigner, Greenpeace; Mr Charles Secrett, Executive Director, Dr Rachel Western, Nuclear Research Officer and Mr Roger Higman, Senior Climate Campaigner, Friends of the Earth, were examined.

Professor Judith Petts, Professor of Environmental Risk Management, Birmingham University, was examined.

Rt Hon Michael Meacher, a Member of the House, Minister of State (Environment), Mr Richard Wood, Head of the Radioactive Substances Division, and Dr Malcolm Wakerley, Research and Technical Support Manager, Radioactive Substances Division, Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, were examined.
