The Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee
has agreed to the following Special Report:
DRAFT WATER BILL: GOVERNMENT REPLY TO
THE NINTH REPORT OF SESSION 2000-01 FROM
THE ENVIRONMENT, TRANSPORT AND REGIONAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE
Responsibility for this matter has now passed to
the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and therefore
to the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee. The Committee
received a memorandum from the Department for Environment, Food
and Rural Affairs on 18 December 2001, constituting the Government's
Reply to the Ninth Report of Session 2000-01 from the Environment,
Transport and Regional Affairs Committee, Draft Water Bill,
made to the House on 28 March 2001. The Reply is appended.
