  UK exports to Turkey increased by 49 per cent in 2000

  UK imports from Turkey increased by 19 per cent in 2000

  Turkey is the UK's 18th largest export market (2000)

  Turkey is the UK's 28th largest source of imports (2000)

  UK is Turkey's 3rd largest export market (2000)  

  UK is Turkey's 6th largest source of imports (2000)

  UK share of world exports to Turkey fell from 6.2 per cent in 1998 to 5.1 per cent in 1999.

  Around 90 per cent of UK exports to Turkey are manufactured goods.
