  Draft Report (The Anti-Terrorism, Crime and Security Bill 2001) proposed by the Chairman, brought up and read.

  Ordered, That the draft Report be read a second time, paragraph by paragraph.

  Paragraphs 1 to 26 read and agreed to.

  Paragraph 27 read, as follows:

    "We reluctantly accept that there may be a small category of persons who are suspected international terrorists who cannot be prosecuted, extradited or deported and therefore will have to be detained."

  Amendment proposed, in line 2, to leave out from the word "deported" to the end of the sentence.- (Bob Russell.)

  Question put, That the Amendment be made.
