Publication of Uncorrected Evidence on the Internet: The Committee approved the revised guidelines on the publication on the Internet of uncorrected transcripts of evidence.

Core Tasks for Select Committees: The Committee approved the draft guidance on core     tasks for Select Committees, pursuant to the Resolution of the House of 14 May 2002.

Evidence from the Prime Minister

The Committee deliberated.

Draft Special Report (Evidence from the Prime Minister), proposed by the Chairman, brought up and read.

Ordered, That the draft Special Report be read a second time, paragraph by paragraph.

Paragraphs 1 to 10 read and agreed to.

Resolved, That the Report be the First Special Report of the Committee to the House.

Ordered, That the Chairman do make the Report to the House.

The Committee deliberated further.

Overseas Travel

Resolved, That the Committee approves the following visits:

Treasury Committee to Germany at a cost not exceeding £13,948;

Science and Technology Committee to Japan at a cost not exceeding £67,705;

Joint Committee on Human Rights to India, Australia and New Zealand at a cost not exceeding £44,000;

International Development Committee to Afghanistan at a cost not exceeding £71,494;

Foreign Affairs Committee to New York and Washington at a cost not exceeding   £55,000;

Education and Skills Committee to New Zealand at a cost not exceeding £52,502.— (The Chairman.)
