The Committee deliberated.

Mr Glenn Hull, Second Treasury Officer of Accounts, was further examined.

The Committee deliberated (declaration of interest).

Mr Nick Gibb disclosed his interests pursuant to the Resolution of the House of 13 July 1992.[3]  

The Comptroller and Auditor General's Report on Non-Competitive Procurement in the Ministry of Defence (HC 290) was considered.

Mr Kevin Tebbit CMG, Permanent Under-Secretary of State, Ministry of Defence; Mr Stan Porter, Director General Commercial, Ministry of Defence, and Sir Robert Walmsley KCB, FREng, Chief of Defence Procurement and Chief Executive, Defence Procurement Agency, were examined (HC 370-i).

Resolved, That the witnesses be further examined in private.

The witnesses were further examined.

The witnesses withdrew.

The Committee further deliberated.
