The Comptroller and Auditor General's Report on Policy Development:
Improving Air Quality (HC 232) was considered.
Mr Brian Bender, Permanent Secretary, Mr Martin Williams, Head
of Technical Policy and Acting Head of the Air and Environmental
Quality Division, and Mr Rupert Furness, Head of National and
Local Air Quality Policy Branch, Department for Environment, Food
and Rural Affairs, were examined (HC 560-i ).
Draft Report (Access to the Victoria and Albert Museum), proposed
by the Chairman, brought up and read.
Ordered, That the draft Report be read a second time, paragraph
by paragraph.
Paragraphs 1 to 4 read and agreed to.
Paragraph 5 postponed.
Paragraphs 6 to 30 read and agreed to.
Postponed paragraph 5 read and agreed to.
Resolved, That the Report be the Sixteenth Report of the
Committee to the House.
Ordered, That the Chairman do make the Report to the House.
Ordered, That the provisions of Standing Order No. 134
