The Committee deliberated.

Mr Rob Molan, Second Treasury Officer of Accounts, was further examined.

The Comptroller and Auditor General's Report on Helping victims and witnesses: the work of Victim Support (HC 1212), was considered.

Mr John Gieve CB, Permanent Secretary, Home Office, was further examined, and Mrs Jane Furniss, Director, Criminal Justice Performance, Home Office, was examined; Dame Helen Reeves DBE, Chief Executive, Victim Support, was examined (HC 1343-i).

Resolved, That the provisions of paragraph 1(a) of Standing Order No. 137A (Select Committees: power to work with other committees) be applied to the transcript of evidence taken before the Committee on 4 November, in respect of the Education and Skills Committee.—(The Chairman).

Draft Report (Inland Revenue: Tax Credits), proposed by the Chairman, brought up and read.

Ordered, That the draft Report be read a second time, paragraph by paragraph.
