report on Modernising Construction (HC 87) was considered.
Sir Richard Mottram, KCB, Permanent Secretary, the
Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions; Mr Peter
Gershon, CBE, Chief Executive, and Mr Deryk Eke, Construction
Director, the Office of Government Commerce, were examined (HC
266-i).
In the absence of the Chairman, Mr Andrew Love took
the Chair.
The Chairman resumed the Chair.
