Bichard, Permanent Secretary, the Department for Education and
Employment; Mr William Rickett, Director General, Transport Strategy
and Planning, the Department of the Environment, Transport and
the Regions; and Mr Geoffrey Podger, Chief Executive, the Food
Standards Agency, were examined (HC 426-i).
