THE GOVERNMENT'S RESPONSE TO THE SCIENCE
AND TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE'S FOURTH REPORT, SESSION 2000-01, ON
THE SCIENTIFIC ADVISORY SYSTEM
1. The Science and Technology Committee reported
to the House on The Scientific Advisory System in its Fourth Report
of Session 2000-01, published on 21 March 2001 as HC 257.
2. The Government's response to the Committee's Report
was received on 9 October 2001 in the form of a memorandum to
the Committee. It is reproduced as an Appendix to this Special
Report.
