1. Mr Vaz was offered directorship of General
Mediterranean Holding (UK) Ltd on 26 January 1999.
2. Mr Vaz accepted the directorship verbally
on 13 April 1999.
3. Mr Vaz resigned from the directorship on 17
May 1999, again verbally; on the date he was appointed minister.
