Letter to the Lord Paul, Caparo Group

Thank you for your letter of 9 February which I will
circulate to the Committee. I am particularly grateful for your
prompt response to my letter of 8 February.
When we spoke on the telephone on Friday I believe
you indicated that you had made payments to Mr Vaz's campaign
fund before 1997. It would be a great help to the Committee if
you could provide details of those earlier payments.
