Letter to Mr Keith Vaz MP from the Parliamentary
Commissioner for Standards
Thank you for coming to see me yesterday and for
your letter of 26 March 2001 and attachments.
I am grateful to you for agreeing to provide me with
a further detailed and comprehensive response to cover the outstanding
points raised in the two letters from Mr Andrew Lansley, the letters
from the Chairman and matters referred to in press comment. I
gave you examples of the latter and I suggested that, in order
to settle all outstanding concerns, you also review all transactions
for any purpose between you, or Mapesbury Communications, or Ms
Fernandes and the Hinduja family or Foundation.
