Letter to Mr Keith Vaz MP
from Mr Jake Bharier, Skillshare International
Thank you for your fax relating to your time as a
director and Trustee of Skillshare Africa, the name of which was
changed to Skillshare International last year. In answer to your
four questions:
1. Our copies of forms submitted to Companies
House show that you were appointed as a director of Skillshare
Africa on 11 September 1990, and that you resigned as a director
on 13 July 1992.
2. I have examined the minutes of Board meetings
held between those dates. Your presence is not recorded at any
of them: in most cases, your apologies for absence are recorded.
3. We have had no director by the name of ***
during the existence of Skillshare Africa. However, *** was appointed
as a director of Skillshare Africa on 30 May 1992. He is still
a director and Trustee.
4. Since we have no Mr ***, I can only conclude
that you would have attended no meeting with him during the period
indicated in your fax. I have spoken to Mr ***, who tells me that
he has no recollection of ever meeting you.
