Mr Griffiths rang to check with me the contents of
the letter that he was sending to me. We discussed what he should
say about his Register entry to be clear. We discussed the timetable.
I advised him to make sure that his letter was comprehensive and
reminded him that it would in due course it would be likely to
be made public. I described to him the options that were open
to me:
1. To be satisfied that there was nothing further
I needed to do.
2. To ask him further questions.
3. Make a report to the Committee.
Mr Griffiths said he would get the letter to me as
soon as he could.
