Letter to the former Parliamentary Commissioner
for Standards from Mr Archy Kirkwood MP
I understand that you are aware of the correspondence
between myself and the Registrar about the allegations relating
to my 1989 Register of Interests.
I was advised by the Registrar that no further action
was required of me but that I should write to you to set the record
In December 1989 I had a registerable interest, which
I did not declare within the required 28 days. I subsequently
remedied the omission by my own hand in November 1990.
I understand that no further action is necessary
but if it would help I can furnish a copy of the exchange of letters
between myself and the Registrar which provides more detailed
background of the matter.
