Letter from Paul Rich, Group Managing Director, Consignia plc
Thank you for your letter of 12 December, requesting an update on some of the individual cases that were raised at the Welsh Affairs Committee hearing on 20 March 2001.
Please find enclosed with this letter, a report providing an update on the issues specified, along with a general overview of the rural network in Wales.
Over the past year, Stuart Sweetman has moved jobs within Consignia, therefore I am responding to your letter having taken over Stuart's former responsibilities. Additionally during this period, Post Office Limited has been created, which has brought together those parts of the organisation responsible for delivering the Post Office Network Strategic Plan, to create an integrated and focused management team with a shared vision and aligned priorities.
