Memorandum submitted by the English Association
of Public Health Observatories
We welcome the opportunity to comment on the
draft bill. We welcome and support the creation of the Wales Centre
for Health and look forward to working with it in the future.
The one comment that we would like to make is that consideration
be given to using the term Public Health Observatory in the list
of functions, as we believe that this will facilitate collaboration
in the future, both with the English PHOs and similar observations
in Europe.
