Letter to the Clerk of the Committee from
the Institute of Actuaries (PC 26)
Following your phone call on Monday, I am now
in a position to enclose a copy of the Faculty and Institute of
Actuaries' submission to the Work and Pensions Committee. This
is in the form of the original response the profession submitted
to the Department of Social Security a year ago. The profession
has considered the current state of the Pension Credit and decided
that its original response still represents its position.
