Effect of codes of practice

To move the following Clause:—

    '(1)   Failure by a person to comply with a code of practice shall not of itself make him liable to criminal or civil proceedings.

    (2)   In exercising a function under this Part the registrar or the Tribunal may take into account—

      (a) a code of practice;

      (b) a failure to comply with a code of practice.

    (3)   A code of practice—

      (a) shall be admissible in evidence in criminal or civil proceedings, and

      (b) shall be taken into account by a court or tribunal in any case in which it appears to the court or tribunal to be relevant.'.


Fox

       'Registration under Part 2 shall not be effected in respect of the hunting of fox between 1st March and 30th November.'.


Hares

Use of dogs below ground

Lowland hunting of fox

       'Registration under Part 2 shall not be effected in respect of any hunting of fox in an area of land below an altitude of 500 metres above sea level.'


Application to Wales

       'In application to Wales, this Part, except section 9 (1), has effect as if for any reference to the Secretary of State there were substituted a reference to the National Assembly for Wales.'.
