Review of liabilities

    '(1)   In order that the Exchequer shall not make unnecessary expenditure, it shall be the duty of the Secretary of State within 12 months of the passage of the Bill to conduct a review of liabilities of British Energy;

    (2)   Such a review will examine the option to store of spent nuclear fuel;

    (3)   Such a review shall be carried out in accordance with the Government's current guidelines on public consultation.'.
