    London Local Authorities Bill [Lords]

    Mr Tony McNulty, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, has made the following report:

'Standing Order 169A of the House of Commons requires me to report on this Bill in respect of the statement of opinion required by Standing Order 38 relating to the compatibility of the proposals with the European Convention on Human Rights.

The promoters have undertaken such an assessment and are satisfied that the Bill is compatible with Convention rights under ECHR and I see no need to disagree with their conclusions.'.
