Draft Report, proposed by the Chairman, brought up and read.
Ordered, That the draft
Report be read a second time, paragraph by paragraph.
Paragraphs 1.1 to 17 read and agreed to.
Resolved, That the Report
be the Thirty-first Report of the Committee to the House.
Ordered, That the Chairman
do make the Report to the House.
Ordered, That the following
Papers be appended to the Report: Letter from the Secretary of
State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Mrs Margaret
Beckett) to the Chairman of the Committee reporting the outcome
of the Agriculture and Fisheries Council on 22 July 2003, and
letter from the Minister for Europe (Mr Denis MacShane) to the
Chairman of the Committee reporting the outcome of the General
Affairs and External Relations Council on 21 July 2003.—(The
