Resolved, That the Committee do visit Her Majesty's Prisons Swaleside, Standford Hill and Elmley in connection with its inquiry into the Rehabilitation of Prisoners.—(The Chairman.)

Motion made, and Question put, That the Committee do undertake an inquiry into identity cards and the practical questions of any scheme, to include consideration of the Government's proposed draft Bill. (The Chairman.)

Amendment proposed, to leave out from 'undertake' to the end and insert 'an inquiry into the Government's draft Bill on identity cards' (David Winnick.)

Question put, that the Amendment be made.
