Letter to the Commissioner from the Immigration
and Nationality Directorate, Home Office
I write in response to your letter of 23 June.[7]
I have again contacted [the Immigration Officer]
regarding the letter produced to her by Mr Gasparo at Stansted.
Her response is as follows:
"Firstly, I do not recall if the letter I
was shown from the City of London College was a fax or the original
document. Secondly, I most certainly recall that no mention was
made by either party that the document had been altered in any
way as this would have lead to at the least a further interview
and most probably Mr Gasparo being refused entry in to the UK."
