CIVIL CONTINGENCIES BILL

RESOLUTION OF THE PROGRAMMING SUB-COMMITTEE

The Programming Sub-Committee appointed by the Speaker in respect of the Bill agreed the following Resolution at its meeting on 26th January 2004 (Sessional Order C relating to Programming (28th June 2001)):—

That—     (1)   during proceedings on the Civil Contingencies Bill the Standing Committee shall meet when the House is sitting on Tuesdays at 9.30 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. and on Thursdays at 2.30 p.m;

    (2)   8 sittings shall be allotted to the consideration of the Bill by the Committee;

    (3)   the proceedings shall be taken in the order shown in the Table below and shall (so far as not previously concluded) be brought to a conclusion at the time specified in the second column of the Table.
