Wind Turbines (Noise Emissions)
Mr. Walter: To ask the Secretary of State for Health what research has been carried out into the health effects of low frequency noise emitted from wind turbines. [159878]
Miss Melanie Johnson [holding answer 9 March 2004]: The Department of Health has funded work on the effects of environmental noise on health but this has not included noise produced by wind farms.
