Consideration of Lords Reason for Disagreeing to one of the Commons Amendments

London Local Authorities Bill [LORDS].

    Siobhain McDonagh

On Consideration of the Lords Reason for disagreeing to one of the Commons Amendments to the London Local Authorities Bill [Lords], to move, That the Commons do not insist on their Amendment to which the Lords have disagreed.

[The Lords disagree to the Amendment made by the Commons in page 3, line 14 (after 'displayed', insert 'on the date on which it is proposed that the vehicle should be disposed of'), for the following Reason: Because the purpose of the amendment is now achieved by Commons amendments Nos. 6, 8, 10 and 11, and it can be omitted consequentially on the making of those amendments.]

[Copies of the Bill and Amendment may be inspected in the Private Bill Office.]
