The Committee deliberated.

Ordered, that the Chairman should write to the Modernisation Committee in connection with that Committee's inquiry on connecting Parliament with the public.—(The Chairman.)

1. Mid-term review of the PARBUL contract with Bowtie Television Ltd

Resolved, That the Committee should conduct a mid-term review of the contract between PARBUL and Bowtie Television Ltd.—(The Chairman.)

Ordered, That the Chairman should write to interested parties asking for their views .—(The Chairman.)

2. Fixed TV Control Rooms

Resolved, That the Committee notes the outcome of discussions on fixed TV controls by the Accommodation and Works Committee.—(The Chairman.)

3. Meetings with the BBC

Resolved, That the Committee should hold regular informal meetings with the BBC to discuss BBC Parliament.—(The Chairman.)

Ordered, That the Chairman should write to the Chairman of PARBUL setting out the outcome of the mid-term review.—(The Chairman.)

2. BBC Management: Separation of Responsibilities

Resolved, That the Committee notes two memoranda from the BBC on changes to the BBC management structure.—(The Chairman.)

3. Webcasting

Ordered, That the Committee should receive a detailed report on webcasting at its next meeting.—(The Chairman.)

4. Disorder in the Chamber on 19 May

Resolved, That the Committee notes the report from the Director of Broadcasting.—(The Chairman.)
