1. The Environmental Audit Committee published its report on Sustainable Development Headline Indicators 2002 on 10 October 2003 as HC 1080.

2. The Government's Response to the Committee's Report was received on 26 January 2004 in the form of a memorandum to the Committee. It is reproduced as an Appendix to this Special Report.
