*3  Mr David Trimble (Upper Bann):    If he will make a statement on progress in dealing with cross-border racketeering.(208897)

*4  Lady Hermon (North Down):    If he will make a statement on compliance by Government offices in Northern Ireland with the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 to facilitate communication with the deaf and hard of hearing.(208898)

*5  The Reverend Martin Smyth (Belfast South):    What steps he is taking (a) to reduce cancer rates and (b) to improve care for cancer patients in Northern Ireland.(208899)

*6  Mr Jeffrey M. Donaldson (Lagan Valley):    When he expects to make an announcement on whether the future development of the site of the former Maze prison will include a new national sports stadium for Northern Ireland.(208900)

PROPOSAL FOR A DRAFT HIGHER EDUCATION (NORTHERN IRELAND) ORDER 2005

Mr Secretary Murphy

    That the Committee has considered the proposal for a draft Higher Education (Northern Ireland) Order 2005.

Debate may continue for two and a half hours (Order of 21st December 2004).

ADJOURNMENT

    On the Motion for the adjournment of the Committee under Standing Order No. 116(5) David Burnside proposes to raise the subject of further education training and government support for the Northern Ireland hospitality, leisure and tourism industry.

Debate may continue for half an hour (Standing Order No. 116(5)).
