1. Rules of Coverage
The Committee deliberated.
Resolved, That the existing Rules of Coverage regarding provision of the second feed should be applied rigorously.
Resolved, That steps should be taken to increase the awareness of the TV camera operators of unexpected events in the Chamber.
Resolved, That when the House is suspended or adjourned, the second feed wide-angle shot of the Chamber should be replaced by a close-up shot of the clock above Mr Speaker's chair.
Resolved, That the existing interpretation of the Rules of Coverage regarding use of the second feed for editing purposes should not be relaxed.
Ordered, That the Chairman write to Mr Speaker to inform him of the Committee's views.
2. Webcasting
The Committee deliberated.
3. Minutes of Proceedings
Resolved, That the Committee notes that Minutes of Proceedings of its meetings will henceforth be published on the Internet shortly after each meeting, in accordance with proposals endorsed by the Liaison Committee.
