Consideration of alternatives to current duty of care practice

  Current practice already provides alternatives to the empowered officer, in that the welfare system in place is multi-faceted and includes WRVS, Unit Welfare Officers, Padres and Medical Officers to assist in the identification of welfare cases and assist with their care. All of these agencies operate in support of the chain of command, which is the focal point for addressing duty of care issues.
