Second Special Report
On 28 September 2004 the Education and Skills Committee
published its Sixth Report of Session 2003-04, The Work of Ofsted.[1]
On 20 December 2004 we received the Government's response to the
Report. Ofsted's response was received on 18 October 2004. The
responses are reproduced as Appendices I and II to this Special
Report. A list of the conclusions and recommendations from the
Committee's Sixth Report is reproduced at Appendix III.
