Can I thank you for your letter of the 8 January
2004.
I voted for the change of hours and my position
has not changed. I think that they have worked for many Members,
including those such as myself who represent constituencies far
from London. I feel that some of the issues being raised with
regard to the workings of the House, including restaurants, should
be looked at but have nothing to do with the hours that we sit
which are far more civilised than they were.
