Thank you for your letter of 8 January 2004.

If you are counting heads my position is as follows; for choice I would revert to the old hours (Option 1).

If Option 1 is not achievable then I would prefer to adopt Option 4 namely that the House should sit until 10.00 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays.

I will of so inform the Procedure Committee.
