years.
Assault occasioning actual bodily harmon
conviction on indictment, to increase from five years to seven
years.
Common assaultpreviously a summary offence,
this offence to be alternatively tried on indictment with a maximum
penalty of two years imprisonment, or an unlimited fine, or both.
Criminal damagethe maximum sentence of
imprisonment on conviction on indictment to increase from 10 years
to 14 years imprisonment.
Harassmentpreviously a summary offence,
this offence to be alternatively tried on indictment with a maximum
penalty of two years imprisonment, or an unlimited fine or both.
Putting in fear of violencethe maximum
sentence of imprisonment on conviction on indictment to increase
from five years to seven years.
