Breach of regulations governing publications funded
from IEP
Further to a number of emails and phone calls I have
made I now send, as requested, a copy of the publication issued
by my MP Anthony Steen which appears to me to be in clear breach
of the rules which govern publications funded from the IEP.
Page 1 of the Rules (which document I have been sent
by Dan Gorman, Operations Manager) carries the statement: "The
allowances must not be used to fund party political activity or
campaigning". I draw your attention to the shaded box in
Mr Steen's 'Westminster Report' which reads:
"Lib Dem £100 cash back gimmick is no answer
to our spiralling council tax bills"
Surely this is a clear example of 'party political
activity or campaigning'?
