In February 2005 Brixham had a total of 62 watches, on 17 occasions the watch was run at below minimum levels (27.4% of the time). On another 12 occasions the station was at minimum level.

Swansea MRCC.

The duty watch of 6 and 7 March were reluctant to give the information asked for. However, during the management team meeting held on 12 October 2004 at MRCC Swansea, the District Operations Manager (DOM) Derrick Jones stated he was "happy for the Watch Managers to risk assess at below minimum recommended levels". This statement would indicate that the staff have been expected to run at or below minimum levels.

London MRSC.

Could not run below minimum levels as there is only one member of staff at any one time.

Holyhead MRSC.

Again were reluctant to supply information requested. However, "they have struggled with staff shortages, particularly WO vacancies were concerned, we have managed to cover the majority of shortfalls with overtime".

Liverpool MRSC.

In September 2004 on one occasion the station was staffed below minimum level, ie. Only two on watch believed to be one x WM (qualified), one x WO (qualified), this was a day watch but the member of staff reporting was unsure of the exact date.

Dover MRCC.

There has been one occasion this year when the station, with all its extra duties has been staffed with one x WM (qualified), and three x CWA's (qualified). The date could not be confirmed because the DOM controls the watchbill and no one in the operations room has access to it.
