Second Special Report
On 4 February 2005, we published our Second Report
of the current session, Credit card charges and marketing,
as House of Commons paper No. 274.[1]
We have now received responses from the Department of Trade and
Industry for the Government (dated March 2005, appended below
as Appendix 1), the Office of Fair Trading (dated 7 February 2005,
appended below[2] as Appendix
2) and the Financial Services Authority (dated 21 February 2005,
appended below[3] as Appendix
3).

Card Charges (First Report, Session 2003-04, HC 125); responses
to that Report were published in March and June 2003 ( First Special
