TRANSPORT (WALES) BILL (PROGRAMME)

        That the following provisions shall apply to the Transport (Wales) Bill:

Committal

        1.   The Bill shall be committed to a Standing Committee.

Proceedings in Standing Committee

        2.   Proceedings in the Standing Committee shall (so far as not previously concluded) be brought to a conclusion on Thursday 30th June 2005.

        3.   The Standing Committee shall have leave to sit twice on the first day on which it meets.

Consideration and Third Reading

        4.   Proceedings on consideration shall (so far as not previously concluded) be brought to a conclusion one hour before the moment of interruption on the day on which those proceedings are commenced.

        5.   Proceedings on Third Reading shall (so far as not previously concluded) be brought to a conclusion at the moment of interruption on that day.

        6.   Standing Order No. 83B (Programming committees) shall not apply to proceedings on consideration and Third Reading.

Other proceedings

        7.   Any other proceedings on the Bill (including any proceedings on consideration of Lords Amendments or on any further messages from the Lords) may be programmed.

TRANSPORT (WALES) BILL [MONEY]:      Queen's recommendation signified.

        That, for the purposes of any Act resulting from the Transport (Wales) Bill it is expedient to authorise the payment out of money provided by Parliament of any increase attributable to the Act in the sums payable out of money provided by Parliament under another enactment.

NORTHERN IRELAND

        That the direction given by the Secretary of State under section 51B(2) of the Northern Ireland Act 1998 on 1st April 2005, a copy of which was laid before this House on 4th April, in the last Session of Parliament, be approved.

The Instrument has not yet been considered by the Joint Committee on Statutory Instruments.
        The Speaker shall put the Question necessary to dispose of proceedings not later than one and a half hours after their commencement (Standing Order No. 16).

NORTHERN IRELAND GRAND COMMITTEE

        That—

    (1)   the draft Budget (No. 2) (Northern Ireland) Order 2005 be referred to the Northern Ireland Grand Committee;

    (2)   the Committee shall meet at Westminster on Wednesday 29th June at half-past Two o'clock; and

    (3)   at that sitting—

      (a)   the Committee shall take questions under Standing Order No. 110 (Northern Ireland Grand Committee (questions for oral answer)), and shall then consider the instrument referred to it under paragraph (1) above; and

      (b)   at the conclusion of those proceedings, a motion for the adjournment of the Committee may be made by a Minister of the Crown, pursuant to paragraph (5) of Standing Order No. 116 (Northern Ireland Grand Committee(sittings)).

Standing Committee Notices

     The Programming Sub-Committee of Standing Committee A in respect of the Natural Environment and Rural Communities Bill will meet on Monday 20th June at 6.00 p.m.

     Standing Committee A will meet on Tuesday 21st June at 10.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. to consider the Natural Environment and Rural Communities Bill.

     Standing Committee B will meet on Tuesday 21st June at 10.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. to consider the Finance Bill (except Clauses 11, 18, 40, 43, 44 and 69 and Schedule 8).

     The Programming Sub-Committee of Standing Committee D in respect of the Consumer Credit Bill will meet on Wednesday 22nd June at 5.30 p.m.

     Standing Committee D will meet on Thursday 23rd June at 8.55 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. to consider the Consumer Credit Bill.

     The Welsh Grand Committee will meet on Thursday 23rd June at 1.00 p.m. to consider the Government's Legislative Programme as outlined in the Queen's Speech as it relates to Wales.

     The First Standing Committee on Delegated Legislation will meet on Tuesday 21st June at 10.30 a.m. to consider the draft Remand in Custody (Effect of Concurrent and Consecutive Sentences of Imprisonment) Rules 2005.

     The Second Standing Committee on Delegated Legislation will meet on Tuesday 21st June at 4.30 p.m. to consider the draft Community Interest Company Regulations 2005.

     The Third Standing Committee on Delegated Legislation will meet on Tuesday 21st June at 4.30 p.m. to consider the draft Suitability of Adopters Regulations 2005 and the draft Restriction on the Preparation of Adoption Reports Regulations 2005.

     The Fourth Standing Committee on Delegated Legislation will meet on Wednesday 22nd June at 2.30 p.m. to consider the draft Unauthorised Encampments (Northern Ireland) Order 2005.

     The Fifth Standing Committee on Delegated Legislation will meet on Wednesday 22nd June at 2.30 p.m. to consider the draft Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 2000 (Consequential Modifications) (England, Wales and Northern Ireland) Order 2005 and the draft Education (Additional Support for Learning) (Scotland) Act 2004 (Consequential Modifications) Order 2005.

     The Sixth Standing Committee on Delegated Legislation will meet on Thursday 23rd June at 2.30 p.m. to consider the draft Firearms (Amendment) (Northern Ireland) Order 2005.

     The Seventh Standing Committee on Delegated Legislation will meet on Wednesday 22nd June at 2.30 p.m. to consider the draft Climate Change Levy (Combined Heat and Power Stations) Regulations 2005 and the draft Climate Change Levy (Fuel Use and Recycling Processes) Regulations 2005.
