        That, for the year ending with 31st March 2007, for expenditure by the Department of Health—

    (1)   resources, not exceeding £27,595,662,000, be authorised, on account, for use as set out in HC 465, and

    (2)   a sum, not exceeding £26,808,818,000, be granted to Her Majesty out of the Consolidated Fund, on account, to meet the costs as so set out.

        This Vote on Account is to be considered in so far as it relates to the regulation of the pharmaceutical industry (Resolution of 1st December).

      Relevant documents:
        Fourth Report from the Health Committee, Session 2004-05, HC 42-I, on The Influence of the Pharmaceutical Industry; and the Government's response thereto, Cm 6655; and

        The Department of Health Departmental Report 2005, Cm 6524.
