SUMMER ADJOURNMENT 2006
       Members wishing to table questions in person may do so in the usual way in the Table Office until 7.30 p.m. or the rising of the House (whichever is earlier) on Tuesday 25th July. Thereafter, they may table oral and written questions electronically or by post.
TABLING ARRANGEMENTS FOR QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER
       Under Standing Order No. 22(6), the Speaker has made the following arrangements for tabling Questions for oral answer in the first sitting week in October:

TABLING OF WRITTEN QUESTIONS FOR ANSWER DURING THE SUMMER ADJOURNMENT
       The House agreed on 24th July to arrangements for tabling and answering parliamentary questions during the summer Adjournment. Members may table a maximum of five named day questions on each designated tabling day for answer on one of the designated answering days as follows:

Monday 18th September
       Questions not correctly marked for named day answer on one of the September answering dates—including those in excess of the maximum of five Questions on each designated tabling date—will be marked for ordinary written answer and treated as set out below.
       The answering date for ordinary and named day written questions tabled on 25th July is 9th October. Ordinary written questions received on 4th, 6th and 11th September will be treated as being tabled on Friday 29th September for answer on Monday 9th October.

       The normal arrangements for tabling questions for answer in the first sitting week of October will apply as follows:
