Mr Richard Caborn NC3 To move the following Clause:'(1) In its application to Scotland, this Act has effect subject to the following modifications. (2) "Enactment", except in section 7(2)(d)(iv), includes an enactment contained in, or in an instrument under, an Act of the Scottish Parliament. (3) "Local authority" means a council constituted under section 2 of the Local Government etc. (Scotland) Act 1994 (c. 39). (c.39) (4) "Local planning authority" means a planning authority for the purposes of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 (c. 8). (c.8) (5) "Police authority" includes a joint police board constituted under an amalgamation scheme made under section 19 of the Police (Scotland) Act 1967 (c. 77). (c.77) (6) References to costs are to be read as if they were references to expenses. (7) References to a highway are to be read as if they were references to a road within the meaning of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 (c. 54). (8) In sections 17 to 28

ORDER OF THE HOUSE [21st JULY]That the following provisions shall apply to the London Olympics Bill:
Committal 1. The Bill shall be committed to a Standing Committee.
Proceedings in Standing Commitee 2. Proceedings in the Standing Committee shall (so far as not previously concluded) be brought to a conclusion on Thursday 20th October 2005.3. The Standing Committee shall have leave to sit twice on the first day on which it meets.
Consideration and Third Reading 4. Proceedings on consideration shall (so far as not previously concluded) be brought to a conclusion one hour before the moment of interruption on the day on which those proceedings are commenced.5. Proceedings on Third Reading shall (so far as not previously concluded) be brought to a conclusion at the moment of interruption on that day. 6. Standing Order No. 83B (Programming committees) shall not apply to proceedings on consideration and Third Reading.
Other proceedings 7. Any other proceedings on the Bill (including any proceedings on consideration of Lords Amendments or on any further messages from the Lords) may be programmed.
ORDER OF THE COMMITTEE [13TH OCTOBER 2005]That(1) during proceedings on the London Olympics Bill, in addition to its first meeting on Thursday 13th October at 9.30 a.m., the Standing Committee shall meet on Thursday 13th October at 2.00 p.m., on Tuesday 18th October at 10.30 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. and on Thursday 20th October at 9.30 a.m. and 2.00 p.m.; (2) the proceedings shall be taken in the order shown below and shall (so far as not previously concluded) be brought to a conclusion at 5.00 p.m. on Thursday 20th October: Clause 39; Clauses 1 to 3; Schedule 1; Clauses 4 to 30; Schedule 2; Clause 31; Schedule 3; Clauses 32 to 38; Remaining proceedings on the Bill.
