‘(1)    

The Lord Chancellor shall introduce legislation to limit the amount of money

 

spent on high cost cases and ensure better and more efficient case management of

 

all cases and in particular high cost cases.

 

(2)    

In this section, “high cost cases” shall mean cases where the costs incurred by the

 

defence are greater than £10,000.’.
