(43)Total strength is based on full-time equivalent figures that have been rounded to the nearest whole number, because of rounding there may be an apparent discrepancy between these totals and the totals in other tables. Between 19861995 the full-time equivalent figures were based on estimations. Figures exclude those staff on career breaks or maternity/paternity unless otherwise stated.
