Miss McIntosh: To ask the Deputy Prime Minister for what reason he has refused funds to local authorities for the Supporting People programme. [65541]
Mr. Woolas: The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister has not refused funds to any Supporting People local authority.
Mr. Love: To ask the Deputy Prime Minister how many telephone advice lines his Department and its non-departmental public bodies support; how many telephone advisers each employs; and how much funding is provided to each by (a) his Department and its non-departmental public bodies, (b) other Government Departments, (c) the private sector and (d) the voluntary sector. Jim Fitzpatrick: The central Office of the Deputy Prime Minister does not support any telephone advice lines. Similar information relating to the Office's regional offices, agencies, non-departmental public bodies or other bodies that the Office sponsors is available only at disproportionate cost.
Mr. Jenkin: To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions what recent estimate he has made of the average period of time between an application for attendance allowance and the application being approved. [63499]
Mrs. McGuire: The administration of attendance allowance is a matter for the chief executive of the disability and carers service, Mr Terry Moran. He will write to the hon. Member with the information requested.
To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, what recent estimate he has made of the average period of time between an application for attendance allowance and the application being approved.
