(2) Provisional data. (3) Rathfriland ward was moved from Newry and Mourne Local Government District to Banbridge Local Government District between 1992 and 1993. There were 31 births in 2005 to mothers resident in Rathfriland ward. The numbers of births in 2005 in the Banbridge and Newry and Mourne LCD areas as they existed in 1975 are estimated as 620 and 1,434 respectively.
