Nuclear Deterrent

Dr. Julian Lewis: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence pursuant to the answer of 5 July 2006, Official Report, column 1107W, on the nuclear deterrent, whether in the course of his regular discussions with the Chancellor of the Exchequer he was informed of the proposed content relating to the retention of the nuclear deterrent in the long-term of the Chancellor's Mansion House speech prior to its delivery.
